THE TRAMP

So for fun I borrowed some clothes from my father's wardrobe. I put them on, oversized pants, an oversized coat. I looked like a poor person from the time of a big recession. Do you remember how poor people were presented in old movies? They always had clothes that didn't fit them. And then I remembered Charlie Chaplin, he made his most famous character The Tramp out of unfitted clothes: oversized shoes, oversized pants, a small jacket and a small hat. That is why I was jumping around and acting very clumsy dressed like that. But it is very interesting that we are now making fashion from the poor people's unwanted look from the past.

  3. I'm sorry but I don't want to be an emperor. That's not my business. I don't want to rule or conquer anyone. I should like to help everyone if possible; Jew, Gentile, black men, white. We all want to help one another. Human beings are like that. We want to live by each others' happiness, not by each other's misery. We don't want to hate and despise one another. In this world there is room for everyone. And the good earth is rich and can provide for everyone. The way of life can be free and beautiful, but we have lost the way.
